Our Community-Driven Approach

The African Community Development Center provides life skills to African immigrants and refugees in Oregon. We focus on access to employment, business entrepreneurship training, youth activities,
parental services with group activities, and homeless services. A strong community is only achieved when we all work together

Asli Ali was born in Somalia and is a mother of 3. As a business entrepreneur, and living in America, she has realized that there is a need for a place to share African culture, provide activities, and support here in Oregon for other African immigrants and a place to bond with one another.

Mohamed is a dedicated supporter of the African community and husband to ACDC founder Asli Ali. As a long-time human rights activist with roots in Sudan and experiences in America, he empathizes with the challenges immigrants face settling into new countries.
