Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) Educational Workshop

The African Community Development Center, in partnership with the City of Portland Elections Office, hosted an interactive "Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) Workshop" and community education campaign. This initiative was dedicated to empowering community members, demystifying new election processes, and ensuring every vote makes an impact.

Participants gained hands-on experience with sample ballots, learned step-by-step how vote transfers and elimination rounds work, and explored how RCV provides stronger representation and broader choices for voters. Through accessible breakdowns and community outreach, this program aimed to foster informed civic participation and ensure local voices are heard clearly at the ballot box.
